2-20-26    THOUGHTS

Two parallel readings in the morning.  God’s GRACE is our blessing, demanding a ZEALOUS RESPONSE FROM US!  We are a purified people, God’s workmanship, instructed to follow good deeds!   1Pet 1:3    “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,”

Titus 2:11-14  For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, 12  instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age,  13  looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus, 14  who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds.

Eph 2:8-10    For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;  9  not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10  For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

Our Prayer:
Thank You, O Father God, for bringing salvation to us.  We long for the blessed hope and appearing of Jesus our Lord.  We praise and lift up Your most holy name.  Purify us for Yourself, O God, and help us to be zealous of all of Your ways.  May we mind and guard our ways as we walk in Your service.  May a joyful, humble love be our countenance, as we take Your image to our world.  In Jesus’ name...    Amen.
